Liminal explores the fragile space between concealment and revelation, presence and disappearance. Emerging from an almost absolute darkness, the figure is revealed only through fragments of illuminated skin and expressive hands, creating the sensation of someone suspended between two states of being. The sweeping curves of the body suggest both vulnerability and quiet strength, while the surrounding blackness becomes a metaphor for the unknown. The title reflects this sense of existing on a threshold—not quite here, not quite elsewhere, but caught in the transformative space between what was and what is yet to become.
Original hand painted Acrylic painting on gallery wrapped Canvas. 36(W) x 36(H) x 1.5(D) inches.
